TULUM AMONG THE TOP 5 BEST BEACHES IN THE WORLD

Tulum was ranked among the five best beaches in the world, according to the annual classification of the FlightNetwork travel platform.
The annual list of the 50 main destinations for 2018 was integrated by a survey of 1,200 professionals from the travel industry.
According to FlightNetwork, the best destinations correspond to the Shipwreck beaches in Zakynthos, Greece; Whitehaven in Queensland, Australia; Hidden in El Nido, Philippines; Do Sancho Bay in Pernambuco, Brazil, and Tulum in Quintana Roo.
The white sand and natural beauty of Tulum in the Riviera Maya exceeded destinations such as Grace Bay in the Turks; Seven Miles in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; Anse Source D’Argent on the Island Digue, Archipelago of Seychelles; Maya Bay in Phi Phi, Thailand and Varadero in Cuba, among others.
Tulum had already been considered as the best destination (24) of the 31 beaches of the world of National Geografic in 2017, for its sand, proximity to the Mayan Prehispanic City of the same name and its proximity to the coral reef of the Caribbean Sea.
Mexico has stood out in the ranking of beach destinations. Playa Norte on Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo, was also listed as one of the 10 best.
The Travelers Choice Playa awards reiterated Playa Norte as a world-class destination in 2018, based on traveler reviews and reviews from TripAdvisor. It was cataloged “a paradise” for its white sands and shallow waters.
